The beauty of an online birthday party is that it doesn’t take much effort. There is no frantic shopping, ordering, or fussing about venues. And, to organize your online celebration you don't need any special skills, no tech experience, and best part, zero clean up at the end. Win, win!
So, go on, get that confetti ready.
We’re going to help you throw a birthday party like no other – virtual style!
There are four easy steps for planning your online party with Swoon.
1. Order your Virtual Party Kits
Please place your order at least two weeks in advance of your big celebration. We will prepare, pack, and courier a smile-inducing party pack to each of your guests as well as to your birthday boy or girl.
2. Select a technology platform
Facetime and Google Hangouts are free and Zoom offers a free basic plan or more bells and whistles for subscribers.
Need a quick how-to zoom tutorial? Paperless Post, the invitation people, has got you covered. Their single-page instructions make scheduling a zoom call a ‘no brainer’!
3. Send the invitation
Just like a face-to-face party, an invitation shares all the details (and creates anticipation & excitement for guests). Plus, in this case, it is critical as your guests need to receive the links to your virtual party platform in advance (to reduce the ‘pants on fire’ moment when ‘someone’ can’t find the link).
4. Share guests home address / contact number with Swoon*
Once you have your guest address list compiled, email Swoon [brenda@swoonxoxo.com] at least five (5) days before your online party. We will then prepare and courier your guest’s celebration box straight to his or her door.
So, that’s it! Easy peezy lemon squeezy – a socially distant soriee sorted!
